0,0,0: a global snapshot of non-objective art in the digital age

commemorating the 110th anniversary of kazimir malevich’s groundbreaking 0,10 exhibition (petrograd, 1915), the 0,0,0 portfolio is a seminal contemporary project that explores the enduring legacy of geometric and non-representational art worldwide.

the title “0,0,0” references the pure state of the color black in programming code, symbolizing the core principle of maximum reduction and universal applicability—a direct conceptual bridge to malevich's revolutionary "zero form."

this limited-edition portfolio gathers 30 original works by international artists, showcasing the vibrant, transcultural evolution of constructivist principles across different generations and continents. it is a visual dialogue between the historical avant-garde and the logic of our networked, digital world.

felipe mujica. born in santiago, chile, and working between new york and latin america, mujica operates in the space between the utopian promise of early modernism and the tactile reality of the present. while yesterday’s geometry was etched in stone and wood, mujica’s geometry is cut from fabric. he is an heir to the great tradition of latin american geometric abstraction—the kinetic art and neo-concretism that sought to bring art out of the frame and into the social space.

his work is often described as "mobile architecture." he takes the sharp, aggressive angles of the avant-garde and renders them in soft, permeable textiles. he reminds us that the history of abstraction in the americas is not just about form, but about movement, participation, and the body in space.

for the 0,0,0 portfolio, mujica presents a diagram of possibility. the work featured today is a structural study—a mesmerizing grid of solid vectors and dotted trajectories. it looks like a map for a fold, or a blueprint for a curtain that has yet to rise. in this drawing, the "digital black" is used to define the tension between the flat surface and the three-dimensional space it desires to occupy. it is a plan for a soft monument.
